Elle Decor

I was interviewed for an Elle Decor article on artist Kathryn Lynch. Click on the above images to read the entire article. I've worked with Kathryn for many years, included her work in "The Little Apple" exhibit, and have featured her work in an upcoming July 18th Anniversary event at foley&cox home in Hudson, NY for which I curated the art.

Hot Dog!

Gallery artist and long-time friend, Bruce Stiglich, created the above sculpture entitled "Hot Dog!", as part of the Columbia County "Best in Show" outdoor exhibit. He gets his engraved name plaque later this week, but here's a pic of him moments after installation (and a few studio shots before he left for the out-of-doors).

All the dogs for the event will be available for purchase at an auction later in the summer and the proceeds are to benefit the Columbia County Council on the Arts and Perform Columbia.

Bruce's work will be featured in "No. 7", the Sept-Oct exhibit at Mercantile Home in Easton, PA.

Flowers at last

Borage (cucumber-like scent, the Victorian's used to love adding springs of this flower to their Lemonade).

Shashta Daisies
These flowers were accidentally planted by a wandering bird who lovingly decided last year to deposit a few seeds in our back yard...this is the result.

Garden Update - Summer is HERE!

The Cabbage Patch is growing like mad. King Slaw, Melissa, Red Ruby, and Winterboro Kale (from left to right).

The Heirloom Lettuc patch is bountiful this year. I planted eight varieties this year, and we've been having decadent salads daily.
