Farmer's Market Mornings

Cottage Garden Flower Arrangements at our Market stand.

Teddy's favorite activity is helping me make flower arrangements in the morning.

This is how butterfly bush, dahlias, and zucchini look at 6:15am on a Saturday morning!

The Pumpkin Patch

The hillside we chose to plant our pumpkins this year must have super-rich soil as the vines are growing like mad! Come October, we'll have Rouge Vif D'Estampes, Classic Jack-O-Lanterns, and Mini Pumpkins galore.

Garden Update - Rainy, Cool, July

The garden is growing like MAD! We have had such a mild, rainy season and everything from the Cabbage patch to the Tomatoes seems to be loving it! In fact, we finally installed a new Rain Barrel, which is completely full, but with the frequent rains we've been getting I haven't used it once to water. If a drought comes in August, though, I'll be all set.

STUDIO REDO

I spent the past few days organizing the 3rd floor studio and sorting all the new fabrics, vintage linens, and notions that have come our way in the past few months. Aunt Madge, YOU ROCK! Thanks to you, I'll never need to buy another sewing needle, spool of thread, or button again! xo
